KeeperFX is a long-running open-source project that rebuilds Bullfrog's 1997 Dungeon Keeper piece by piece, replacing the original DOS binary with maintained C code. The result runs natively on modern Windows at modern resolutions with a rewritten AI, campaign editor and multiplayer, while still requiring the player's own copy of the original game data.
