Asphalt Legends is a free racing game released under Free to Play. It runs on Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, needs about 10.0 GB of disk space, and requires no account, payment or trial. On a computer, the fastest route is the PlayBound Launcher. On a phone or tablet, use the official store or site instead.
Choose how to install
Install with PlayBound or download from the official source without the launcher.
The straightforward PC install is Steam: add Asphalt Legends (free) and let Steam keep it updated. Epic also lists the game.
Windows
Launch from Steam, sign in with a Gameloft account if prompted, and complete the download. A controller is optional but better than keyboard for arcade racing.
This is a live-service racer. Expect a shop and events. You can race without paying; skip the store if that is why you are here.

It is free to download and race. Optional real-money purchases exist for cars, packs, and battle passes. You do not have to spend, but the shop is part of the design.
Unite was the live-service name on PC and consoles. Store pages now often say Asphalt Legends. PlayBound keeps the catalog slug asphalt-legends and treats Unite as an alias.
It expects a broadband connection. Treat it as an online live-service, not a LAN kart racer.
Yes. Controllers are supported and are the better way to play on PC.
Yes. Career-style and versus-AI events exist alongside multiplayer. The calendar of limited events is still the live-service spine.
Yes. Asphalt Legends supports up to 8 players. Its multiplayer runs through the game's own online service or menus, so PlayBound Connect parties and PlayBound dedicated servers are not available for it. There is no subscription and no paid multiplayer tier.
