Question 1

Is KOTOR II free?

Accepted Answer

No. KOTOR II is a paid commercial master copy. The GOG release is DRM-free and can be installed without GOG Galaxy.

Question 2

Should I use TSLRCM for my first playthrough?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod restores dialogue, quests, scenes, and connective material while fixing many bugs. PlayBound keeps it as a separate recommended edition.

Question 3

Does KOTOR II have multiplayer?

Accepted Answer

No. KOTOR II is a single-player party RPG. PlayBound parties can provide voice chat and shared sessions, but the game has no networked co-op.

Question 4

Can I install other mods with TSLRCM?

Accepted Answer

Often, but compatibility and order matter. Begin with a clean game, install TSLRCM first through its PlayBound edition, and add only mods that explicitly document restored-content compatibility.
