Unturned is a free survival game released under Proprietary free-to-play game. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, needs about 2.6 GB of disk space, and requires no account, payment or trial. On a computer, the fastest route is the PlayBound Launcher. On a phone or tablet, use the official store or site instead.

Add Unturned's free base game to your Steam library and install it through Steam. There is no separate PlayBound download or purchase.
Windows
Return to PlayBound after Steam finishes. PlayBound looks for Unturned.exe; use Locate to select the installation if it is not found automatically.
macOS
In Steam, install the macOS build. Launch it from your library after Steam finishes downloading.
Linux
In Steam, install the Linux build. Launch it from your library after Steam finishes downloading.
How to join and navigate multiplayer lobbies and servers in Unturned.
Use Unturned's server browser or direct connect to join the host's server. Public dedicated servers need a valid Steam game-server login token from their owner.

Yes. Unturned has multiplayer. You can have PlayBound start a dedicated server for your group and host a game on your own PC. PlayBound Connect handles the setup: start a party with your friends, pick how you want to play, and everyone launches into the same game from the PlayBound launcher, with the dedicated server started for you if you choose one. It also supports co-op play and LAN play. There is no subscription and no paid multiplayer tier.
