A warm, funny desk job where five days of tiny decisions reshape an adventurers' guild.
That One Thing
The quest giver finally gets the story.
Ye Guild Clerk! clears the PlayBound Bar with a specific hook, honest trade-offs, and a version worth putting in front of players.
Worth the cost
Free, or regularly available for $15 or less. Good developers deserve to be paid, and optional cosmetics, expansions, and premium extras are welcome. But we won't list games that sell competitive advantages, disguise a trial as free, or charge again to finish the core experience.
Ready to play
Playable and satisfying today. It can be unfinished; it cannot be unfun. We love supporting indie developers, but prototypes, broken releases, and promises of a future game do not make the cut.
Tested by PlayBound
We install it, launch it, and play it ourselves. We've spent hours building definitive editions and making multiplayer work, because a store-page claim is not the same as a game we can confidently put in front of you.
That One Thing
Every game needs that one thing we'd excitedly tell our friends about. It might be the mechanics, story, art, soundtrack, controls, community, or the way it brings people together. If it doesn't have one, it doesn't make the catalog.

Ye Guild Clerk! is a short 2.5D narrative game that puts the player behind the desk of an adventurers' guild. Instead of swinging a sword, you hand out quests, equipment and rewards to a cast of expressive animal adventurers, then live with the consequences of what you authorized.
The structure is compact: five workdays, conversations that branch around small choices, and more than forty character outcomes to discover across repeated runs. Point-and-click interactions keep attention on faces, wording and the objects passed across the counter. Booth decorations and music choices add a little ownership without burying the story in systems.
A typical run lasts well under an hour, which suits the premise. Replays are about testing different instincts rather than grinding stats: trust a reckless applicant, deny an obviously dangerous request, or discover that the sensible choice hurt someone you wanted to help.
There is currently no manual save system, so start when you can finish a run in one sitting. The native PC release is Steam-only according to the official project links, making Steam necessary here rather than a default choice.
PlayBound's read: this is a sharply scoped character game with a premise it understands completely. The lack of saves is inconvenient, but the brief runtime and dense outcome tree make the clerk's desk worth revisiting.
We picked Ye Guild Clerk! because it turns the normally invisible quest-giver job into a funny, consequential character study that respects an evening's time.
