Adds a realism-focused overhaul with many new World War II maps, vehicles and weapons to Battlefield 1942.
About Forgotten Hope: Secret Weapon
Forgotten Hope: Secret Weapon expands Battlefield 1942 with a broad set of maps, vehicles and weapons from across the Second World War, with a focus on historical accuracy. The 0.621 release from 2021 is a split installer, with three .bin files and Setup.exe, so the full 4.6 GB must be extracted into one folder before you run the setup program.
Install with the PlayBound Launcher
The launcher installs this into mods/battlefield-1942-forgotten-hope-secret-weapon/ for Battlefield 1942 Anthology. If the base game is missing, it will install that first.
How to install Forgotten Hope: Secret Weapon
- 1
Install Battlefield 1942 Anthology first if you have not already — Forgotten Hope: Secret Weapon is an add-on and needs the base game.
- 2
The quickest route is the PlayBound Launcher: open Battlefield 1942 Anthology, find Forgotten Hope: Secret Weapon in its mods list and press Install. The launcher downloads the official release and places it in the right folder for you.
