Shared texture and model archive other DFU mods expect to find.
0 playing nowAdds additional texture archives and 3D models into DFU's streaming assets so dependent environment and clutter mods can resolve their extra IDs. macOS players who see pink 3D models need the DET build that includes the full archive set. Do not expect a complete world reskin from this file alone.
Daggerfall Expanded Textures is a community add-on for The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. Daggerfall Expanded Textures (DET) is a library, not a visual overhaul you enable for prettier vanilla walls. Ninelan maintains extra archives and models that other DFU mods reference by ID. Without DET, those mods show missing textures or pink meshes. It is not Vanilla Enhanced (the 4x upscale of 1996 art) and it is not D.R.E.A.M. Get the current Standard .dfmod from Nexus Mods and drop it in StreamingAssets/Mods. Enable DET before the mods that list it as a requirement. Asset reuse in other packs is restricted by upstream — read the Nexus permissions before shipping a patch. Mods are versioned separately from the base game — match the recommended engine or client release before joining multiplayer, and keep a clean backup of your settings if you experiment with several packs at once. PlayBound only lists projects that publish redistributable archives or clear external download pages. Always read the upstream README for credits, required assets, and known incompatibilities.

This package isn't one-click yet. Open the official download page in your browser, then place files in the game's mods folder.
Install The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall first if you have not already — Daggerfall Expanded Textures is an add-on and needs the base game.
The quickest route is the PlayBound Launcher: open The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, find Daggerfall Expanded Textures in its mods list and press Install. The launcher downloads the official release and places it in the right folder for you.
Daggerfall Expanded Textures is distributed through https://www.nexusmods.com/daggerfallunity/mods/307. Follow the instructions there — some add-ons install through the base game's own content browser rather than as a file.
Start The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall and enable Daggerfall Expanded Textures from the in-game mods or add-ons menu. The download is roughly 6 MB.
No. DET is a shared texture/model library other mods require. For an upscale of 1996 art, look at Vanilla Enhanced; for a full overhaul, D.R.E.A.M.
