The PlayBound Edition packages verified community mods into a single one-click install: online co-op Multiplayer, full Sandbox/testing mode, community Character Expansions, Discord Rich Presence, and QoL utilities (random character picker & quick restarts).

Can I install these mods individually?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every mod included in the PlayBound Edition is also listed as an individual mod option in the Mods tab so you can enable, configure, or remove specific mods independently.

Will this affect my existing HoloCure save files?

Accepted Answer

No. HoloCure saves are stored separately in %LOCALAPPDATA%\HoloCure (save_n.dat) and are never overwritten or deleted by PlayBound.

Question 4

Can I still play the vanilla single-player edition?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The standard unmodded Official Edition remains available and can be launched or selected at any time.
