Accepted Answer

Yes. It is free to play on Steam. Cosmetics and battle passes are optional purchases; Strikers are unlocked through normal play according to the store page.

Question 2

How big is the install?

Accepted Answer

Steam lists 4 GB of storage, so we record about 4 GB. Allow a little more for updates.

Accepted Answer

Minimum: Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, an i5-4430 or FX-6300, 8 GB RAM, a GTX 960 2 GB or R7 370 2 GB, broadband and 4 GB of storage. The recommended tier publishes only a 64-bit CPU and OS.

Accepted Answer

Steam does not state controller support, so we have not tagged it. Try it in the settings after install.

Question 5

Does Omega Strikers have multiplayer?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Omega Strikers supports up to 6 players. Its multiplayer runs through the game's own online service or menus, so PlayBound Connect parties and PlayBound dedicated servers are not available for it. Question 6

Does it have cross-play with mobile?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Steam describes cross-platform parties and cross-progression across PC and mobile.

Question 7

Do I need Steam?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for the PC version. PlayBound opens the Steam install and tracks it in your library.
