That One Thing
The grappling hook makes every tiny map feel three-dimensional.
DDNet turns Teeworlds' hook, jump and weapon physics into cooperative obstacle courses where teams save one another, preserve a run and chase server-record times. It is a standalone client-and-server distribution rather than a small content patch, which is why PlayBound treats it as an edition. Official servers span regions and difficulty tiers, maps download automatically, and the client adds prediction, ghosting, practice tools and a serious editor around the original movement model. New players should start with Tutorial and Novice maps; the famous Brutal and Insane categories assume techniques the base game never teaches. This recipe uses DDNet's official Windows 64-bit ZIP directly—no Steam client is required—and launches DDNet.exe from the extracted folder.
