Merges Morrowind's heaviest meshes onto texture atlases to lift frame rates.
0 playing nowReplaces heavy Morrowind meshes with atlased versions that cut draw calls; delivered as optional sub-packages for Wrye Mash or manual install.
Morrowind is a CPU-bound game, and much of its slowdown comes from draw calls rather than raw graphics power. Project Atlas attacks that directly. It rebuilds the UV maps of the meshes used most heavily in demanding areas and points them at shared texture atlases, so one object needs far fewer draw calls. The result is a faster game with the same look. It is delivered as a set of sub-packages, so you choose a core set, one matching atlas texture set and any optional patches. The download is a 7z archive with Wrye Mash style sub-packages, and the project's own readme gives the recommended load order against mods like Morrowind Optimization Patch and Morrowind Enhanced Textures.
