BombSquad is an explosive local and online party brawler designed for pure social hilarity. Created by Eric Froemling, the game pits up to eight players against each other across a variety of action-packed mini-games where punches, throws, and cleverly timed explosives reign supreme.
The game's greatest strength is its claymation-style visual aesthetic combined with punchy ragdoll physics. Characters stumble, stagger, and careen across floating platforms, rope bridges, and ice rinks. A wide variety of bomb types—from sticky bombs and ice bombs to landmines and impact explosives—turns every arena into an unpredictable chain reaction of comedic disaster.
Game modes span competitive and cooperative challenges: classic Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, Keep Away, and even Bomber Hockey and Football. Up to eight players can connect simultaneously using USB gamepads, keyboards, or by downloading the free BombSquad Remote companion app on iOS and Android phones to use them as wireless controllers.
