Not for the standalone. That pack uses Freedoom. The PK3-only files need GZDoom plus Freedoom Phase 2 or a legal Doom II IWAD.

Is Afterglow included?

Yes, in the 1.51 standalone, along with Hard Reset. Afterglow is a separate episode with its own launch option; it does not continue a 2063 save.

Do I still go to ModDB?

Not for this edition. PlayBound installs the mirrored standalone zip. ModDB remains the project page for news and PK3-only files.

Installation & Setup

Install Method — PlayBound installer

PlayBound mirror of the Ashes 2063 standalone 1.51 pack (GZDoom + Freedoom + Afterglow + Hard Reset). Sourced from ModDB; not scraped at install time.

One-click standalone. Extracted pack includes GZDoom and Freedoom. Use the episode launcher for 2063, Afterglow, or Hard Reset. PK3-only installs on ModDB still need GZDoom plus Freedoom Phase 2 or Doom II.
