This game is built for mobile devices.
You can still save it to your library and install it later.
An idle RPG that keeps unfolding into active platforming, crafting, bosses, and a startlingly large skill tree.
That One Thing
The background counter keeps becoming a real adventure.
Idle Slayer clears the PlayBound Bar with a specific hook, honest trade-offs, and a version worth putting in front of players.
Worth the cost
Free, or regularly available for $15 or less. Good developers deserve to be paid, and optional cosmetics, expansions, and premium extras are welcome. But we won't list games that sell competitive advantages, disguise a trial as free, or charge again to finish the core experience.
Ready to play
Playable and satisfying today. It can be unfinished; it cannot be unfun. We love supporting indie developers, but prototypes, broken releases, and promises of a future game do not make the cut.
Tested by PlayBound
We install it, launch it, and play it ourselves. We've spent hours building definitive editions and making multiplayer work, because a store-page claim is not the same as a game we can confidently put in front of you.
That One Thing
Every game needs that one thing we'd excitedly tell our friends about. It might be the mechanics, story, art, soundtrack, controls, community, or the way it brings people together. If it doesn't have one, it doesn't make the catalog.

Idle Slayer starts with a runner collecting coins and turns, layer by layer, into a sprawling incremental RPG. Souls buy permanent upgrades, ascensions reset short-term progress for stronger foundations, and new dimensions introduce resources that feed crafting, equipment and further systems.
It is not purely idle. Jump timing, bonus stages, chest hunts, bosses and movement challenges reward active play, while offline progress keeps sessions from feeling mandatory. The skill tree is enormous but legible enough to create long planning arcs: save for a transformative unlock, improve the next ascension, then watch a familiar route accelerate.
The Village and later mechanics gradually add characters, secrets and spaces beyond the automatic run. Cross-platform save support lets mobile and PC players continue the same adventure, which is valuable for a game designed around months rather than evenings.
Idle Slayer is free with in-app purchases. Progress intentionally slows, and players who dislike prestige resets will bounce long before its strangest systems appear. On Windows the official native build is distributed through Steam; mobile stores are the non-Steam alternative, not a separate desktop installer.
PlayBound's read: the pleasure is discovery rather than raw numbers. It keeps earning one more reset by revealing a new kind of decision just when the previous loop becomes automatic.
We picked Idle Slayer because its progression keeps transforming a simple runner into a layered RPG without abandoning the satisfaction of watching numbers climb.
